Play online with three friends

The quickest way to play standard riichi with three friends. You do not need to register a club, and the steps are the same on a phone and a computer.

  1. Press Play online and sign in

Open riichi-dojo.com and press the red Play online button. Sign in with LINE or Google. The first time, choose your name and a nickname on the next screen.

Play online on the Riichi Dojo home page
  2. Choose Play online in a private room

Press Create (the + button) and choose Play online in a private room. If you do not see it, press Non-rated at the top.

  3. Pick four players and Hanchan, then press Join and play

On the Play online page, pick Yonma · 4 for the players and Hanchan for the length. Press the green Join and play to set up your table. From the second time on, the button reads Create table.

  4. Keep the table to your friends

A new table starts as Public table · visible in the lobby, so strangers can sit down too. To play only with your friends, invite them by name, then set Who can join to Only invited players. If you use Club members with the link, other active members can also join.

  5. The game starts when all four are seated

As your friends open the link and sit down, their names appear at the seats. With automatic start selected, the game begins once all four are seated. Keep this page open while you wait.

Before sharing the link, check Who can join and the start settings. For invited players only, invite your friends by name; a members-only table requires active club membership or an invitation. A public table can take any signed-in player. Automatic start begins with a full table; scheduled and manual starts follow the host’s settings. After the game, open its saved result to review the standings and replay.
