About Japan Dojo
The Riichi Mahjong Club in Kyiv
Japan Dojo is a community of riichi mahjong enthusiasts located in Kyiv, Ukraine. Founded to promote riichi mahjong as a deep, intellectual, and competitive sport, we organize regular meetups, teach new players from scratch, and run local tournaments.
We are the creators of Riichi Dojo, the club management platform designed to power modern riichi leagues. Our system tracks statistics, calculates dynamic player ratings, and manages seasonal club scoreboards.
Our club organizes the official JD League in Kyiv, bringing players together for friendly but competitive over-the-board play. We strictly play non-gambling mahjong, focusing on strategy, sportsmanship, and the joy of the game.
